Lossiemouth is one of the Scotland parks in the Park Holidays UK collection, at Lossiemouth, Moray.
Lossiemouth sits on the Moray coast, a fishing town and former RAF station with two very good beaches on either side of the river mouth.
This is the driest, sunniest corner of Scotland, and the sand here would not look out of place a great deal further south.
A local day out: Lossiemouth East Beach
A long arc of pale sand backed by dunes, reached by a footbridge over the River Lossie. It runs for miles and it empties out quickly once you walk away from the bridge. Behind it the dunes are a nature reserve. Free, enormous and generally windswept in the best sense.

- Speyside — The whisky distilleries of the Spey valley, a short drive inland.
- Elgin — The cathedral ruins and a good local museum.
