Solent Breezes Holiday Park, Hampshire – and what to do nearby

Solent Breezes is one of the Hampshire parks in the Park Holidays UK collection, at Warsash, on the Solent.

Solent Breezes sits on the shore at Warsash, on a low cliff looking straight out across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

The view is the product here: this is one of the busiest stretches of water in the world, and there is always something going past.

A local day out: Hamble-le-Rice and the Hamble river

A Georgian sailing village at the mouth of the Hamble, with thousands of boats moored upriver and a tiny pink passenger ferry running across to Warsash. The ferry crossing takes about four minutes, costs very little and is the best value entertainment on the coast for anyone under ten. Walk the river bank at Hamble Common for the fort and the shore.

Also within reach

  • Portsmouth Historic Dockyard — HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior.
  • The Isle of Wight — Ferries from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington.
